About Kyle Ewing

I’m an executive coach and leadership advisor who spent 18 years inside Google’s People organization, helping scale the company from 8,000 to 185,000 employees as revenue grew from $10B to over $300B. Today, I work with leaders navigating growth, transition, and the complexity that comes with bigger roles and bigger organizations.

I spent 18 years at Google in the People organization, helping scale the company from 8,000 to more than 185,000 employees while revenue grew from $10B to over $300B. Over that time, I built and led a global recruiting organization of more than 500 people across 32 offices and 16 countries and partnered closely with executives during periods of hypergrowth, restructuring, and global expansion.

That experience gave me a front-row seat to how leaders and teams operate under pressure, how organizations evolve as they scale, and what it really takes to build leadership capability in complex, fast-moving environments.

Today, I bring that experience to my coaching and advisory work, partnering with senior leaders, emerging executives, and high-potential professionals navigating growth, transition, and meaningful career decisions.

Many of my clients are stepping into bigger roles, rethinking how they want to lead, or feeling the pull toward a new chapter. They are often successful on paper but sensing that the skills and strategies that got them here may not be what will carry them forward.

I’m trained through the Hudson Institute of Coaching, and my work blends real-world leadership experience with evidence-based coaching methods that translate insight into practical action.

In 2024, I stepped away from corporate life and into what I now call my “heart year” — a season of stillness, creativity, and reconnection after nearly two decades in a high-intensity leadership role. I renovated our home from the studs up, launched a home styling studio, and worked with my own coach, an experience that reshaped how I think about success, ambition, and meaningful work.

That season clarified something I had long believed: the most sustainable leadership begins with self-awareness. Today, that perspective shapes every client engagement.

Clients often describe me as a grounded, thoughtful partner who helps them make meaningful shifts that translate into how they lead every day. My work frequently focuses on expanding influence and leadership presence, strengthening communication and decision-making, navigating transitions, and closing the gap between past success and future leadership demands.

Alongside my coaching and advisory work, I stay closely connected to local community and small-business ecosystems. I serve on the board of the Russian River Chamber of Commerce, where I support initiatives focused on sustainable growth, local business vitality, and community connection.

That work keeps me grounded in the realities leaders face at every scale — from global organizations navigating complexity to small teams building something meaningful with limited resources.

I live in West Sonoma County with my husband, Scott, and our rescue pup, Buddy. You’ll often find us paddling the Russian River or hiking coastal trails — the places where I find clarity, inspiration, and perspective. Those roots in nature, community, and intentional living continue to shape how I work with clients today.
